is a middle-late ripe high oil hybrid variety and it is bred from a
middle-late ripe high oil group for a female parent with a capsule non
thorn type auto gamy
group for a male parent. 1.
Yield Performance: The yield is 3.75 t./ha.commonly, if in the case of
high produce measures, the yield can be more than 4.5 ton /ha.. In 1998,
we took part in the whole province new varieties area experiments of
castor-oil plant, the average output is 4.347 t. /ha. . Compared with the
contrast , the increased production is 31.8％.In 2004, the average yield
is 5.399 t./ha. which is the high production demonstration field. On
April. 2000, it passed the examination and approval by Crops Breed Examine
and Approve Committee of Shandong. In 2001, it passed the examination and
approval by Crops Breed Examine and Approve Committee of Ningxia Muslem
Municipalities.

Characteristics: The plant high is 220 cm, it has 5-6 first branches.
Single plant can grow 6-8 spikes. The spike shape likes a pagoda
.The main spike long 55-65cm. .The capsule has few thorns. The seed shape
is a ellipse, and have brown color grain. 100 seeds weight is about 37g.
The kernel rate is 79.1% .The seeds contain oil 51.41%, and the
kernel contain oil 65.08%. 3. The Main Points of Cultivation: It can be planted in the area of the whole country that have no frost time more than 110 days. It can be grow very well in the place of Northeast, Northwest and North in China. Seedtime: In Middle Region of Shandong Province, the time for spring sowing is from the last ten-day of March to the first ten-day of April. If interline planting of wheat field, the time is in the first ten-day of May. It is suitable to plant in the last twenty days of April for the regions of Northeast and Inner Mongolia of China. Cultivation density: In Middle Region of Shandong Province, row spacing is 100-120 cm; the spacing of two plants is 70-80cm; it can grow 10,500-13,500 plants/ha.. In the regions of Northeast and Inner Mongolia of China, the row spacing is 100-120 cm(it can plant in both side of a ridge ) ; the spacing of two plants is 60cm ; it can grow 13,500-15,000 plants/ha.. In the region that temperature difference is big and sunshine is strong in a day ,such as Xinjiang etc., the plants density can be increased to 13,500-18,000 plants/ha.. |
